The label

Who is ABS Black for?
A woman who knows what she likes: knits that fit well, feel good all day and look put together without a lot of fuss.
Is everything black?
Black is where we start, and almost every piece comes in it. Alongside it you’ll find the colors that go with it, like white, gray, camel and olive.
Is there an ABS Pink?
ABS Pink is part of the same family, made the same way.

The knits

Will the black fade?
We choose yarns that take the dye all the way through and hold it. Wash cool, inside out, and a true black stays a true black.
How do the pieces fit?
Comfortable and polished: close enough to look put together, easy enough to wear all day. Each style carries its own fit notes on its page.
What are they made of?
Soft, practical knit yarns chosen for how they feel and how they last. The composition of each piece is on its care label.

Care

How should I wash a black knit?
Cool water, inside out, gentle cycle or by hand, then lay flat to dry away from direct sun. Skip the dryer and the bleach, and the black will thank you.
What about lint and pilling?
Black shows everything, so keep a lint roller close. A little pilling early on is normal for soft yarns and settles after a few wears; a sweater comb, used gently in one direction, keeps a piece looking new.
